Americans should adopt European work culture

@nick: At least if you're getting chores done at home, you're spending time at home. ...And what's wrong with chores, anyway? ;-) As a person who works in a fairly strict work environment (due to the nature of the work), I have to hype this idea. While my work does provide places to play (there's a foosball table and air hockey), it always seems like there's some deadline breathing down my neck, and there's no time to take a break. And then the deadline gets met and it turns out I was just working for my boss's bonus. What's the point in that?
