Design Patterns for Dummies

Just recently getting into Design Patterns and am blown away by it, but difficult to find easy to absorb text or screencasts on it. Anyone reckon they can do a "Dummies" style intro on them? Could turn into a ground-breaking series.

I've personally been a fan of Microsoft's "How Do I?" videos. Since I'm more of a learn-by-doing programmer, they give me a hands-on feel where I can code along with the video. If MS does the same for design pattern intros I think that would be a step in the right direction.
