Protect consumers from fake tickets from scalpers
Ever buy a fake scalped ticket and show up at your seat with someone already sitting in it? It would appear to me that ticketmaster and others could do a better job of protecting consumers. My idea is this: simply print a universal code on the ticket which could be entered over the Internet to verify the ticket is valid. Of course, it would require cooperation from the big ticket chains, but it would appear to be worth it! I'd love to hear your thoughts...
